**Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable**

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Finance Assistant - Accounts Payable is expected to be a critical member of the finance team with responsibilities around ensuring that payments are recorded accurately and paid in a timely manner, as well as managing the roll out and maintenance of harmonised payment processing across the Backlight group.

**Key responsibilities**
- Own and manage the processes around Accounts Payable for all subsidiaries across the Backlight group, covering c. 15 legal entities across 7 countries (US, Canada, Sweden, France, UK, India, Argentina)
- Processing invoices through Netsuite - ensuring these are recorded accurately with correct information on expense category, department, project etc.
- Liasing with budget holders to confirm that invoices are approved prior to payment
- Maintaining AP aging reports and ensuring that invoices are paid in a timely manner in weekly payment runs
- Reconciling payments to invoices and ensuring that open AP is always up to date
- Assisting with bank payment processing
- Own the day to day management of our reimbursement and corporate credit card tool (Ramp), ensuring that employee questions are answered and claims are processed efficiently
- Actively contributing to payment process development to ensure efficiency in finance and accounting activities
- Assisting with accounting support across other entities as and when needed
- Assistance with group wide finance projects
