
Quality Control Engineer

We are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that the products manufactured by our company meet the required quality standards. The QC Engineer will be required to visit manufacturing sites, monitor raw material usage, inspect equipment, and collaborate with both clients and government officers to pass inspection processes.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Site Visits & Inspections**:
- Regularly visit manufacturing sites to assess the quality of the production process.
- Verify that all raw materials used in manufacturing comply with the required standards and specifications.
- Identify and report any deficiencies in the raw materials being used for production.
- Conduct thorough inspections of the equipment and machinery at the production site to ensure they are functioning correctly.
- **Equipment & Material Management**:
- Ensure that all necessary equipment is available for the manufacturing process. If any equipment is missing or malfunctioning, arrange for it to be procured or repaired.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely delivery and installation of any missing or necessary equipment.
- **Manufacturing Site Preparation**:
- Work closely with the manufacturing team to ensure that the production site is fully prepared for client inspections.
- Prepare the site according to client specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- **Client & Government Inspection Coordination**:
- Coordinate with clients to schedule and prepare for inspections of the manufacturing site.
- Ensure all required documentation is ready and provide any necessary support during the client inspections.
- Facilitate government inspections, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met, and work towards successfully passing these inspections.
- **Quality Compliance**:
- Monitor and evaluate the quality control processes on the shop floor to ensure that products meet the company’s quality standards.
- Conduct audits and implement corrective actions when needed to maintain compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain and update records of inspections, equipment, and raw materials used.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:
- Prepare regular reports on inspections, quality control findings, and progress towards equipment procurement.
- Maintain detailed logs of inspections and approvals from both clients and government authorities.
**Skills & Qualifications**:
- B.tech in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Industrial Engineering).
- Proven experience in quality control, preferably in manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and raw material specifications.
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance and procurement processes.
- Experience working with clients and government authorities for inspections and certifications.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
**Work Conditions**:
- Frequent site visits to the manufacturing location.
- Travel may be required depending on the location of the manufacturing sites and clients.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
