**Home Health Medical Coder Job Description**:
**Position Title: Home Health Medical Coder**

**Job Summary**:
As a Home Health Medical Coder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and compliant coding of medical records for home health services. Your primary responsibility will be to review and analyse patient records, translate medical services and procedures into standardized codes, and ensure adherence to coding guidelines. You will work closely with healthcare providers, clinicians, and billing teams to guarantee precise documentation and coding, ultimately supporting reimbursement accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
**Medical Coding**:

- Assign accurate codes to diagnoses and services based on documentation provided by healthcare professionals.
- Utilize industry-standard coding systems such as ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II.

**Record Review**:

- Analyse and review patient medical records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with coding guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation and obtain additional information when necessary.

**Compliance**:

- Stay current with coding guidelines, regulations, and changes in the healthcare industry to ensure coding compliance.
- Identify and address coding-related issues to minimize risks and promote adherence to regulatory standards.

**Communication**:

- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to obtain clarification on documentation and coding queries.
- Provide feedback and education to clinical staff regarding coding and documentation improvement.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Conduct regular audits to assess the accuracy and quality of coded information.

Implement corrective actions and training programs based on audit findings to enhance overall coding performance.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor of Dental Surgery

**Salary**: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
