**Job Summary**:
The Duty Medical Officer (DMO) is responsible for providing high-quality medical care during their designated shifts, ensuring immediate medical attention for patients in emergency situations, and managing routine clinical care. The DMO is a critical part of the medical team, especially in urgent or emergency care settings, and will be expected to respond swiftly to medical crises, coordinate patient care, and ensure all treatments align with medical standards and protocols.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Emergency Medical Care**: Respond promptly to medical emergencies, assess patient conditions, and administer necessary treatments.
- **Clinical Assessments**: Perform medical evaluations, take patient histories, and conduct physical exams to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- **Diagnosis and Treatment**: Diagnose a wide range of medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses and provide appropriate treatment or direct the patient to specialized care as needed.
- **Patient Monitoring**: Continuously monitor patients’ progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary. This includes monitoring vital signs, lab results, and clinical conditions.
- **Patient Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient encounters, assessments, treatments, and outcomes according to hospital protocols.
- **Medical Procedures**: Perform necessary medical procedures, such as administering injections, suturing wounds, or resuscitating patients in life-threatening situations.
- **Medication Prescribing**: Prescribe medications in line with the patient’s condition, ensuring the correct dosage and patient safety.
- **Collaborating with Medical Team**: Communicate and coordinate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic patient care.
- **Patient Education**: Educate patients and their families about their conditions, prescribed treatments, medications, and preventive health practices.
- **Shift Handover**: Ensure a detailed and smooth handover of patient care to the next medical team at the end of each shift.
- **Infection Control**: Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases and maintain a safe environment for both patients and healthcare workers.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**: Handle administrative tasks related to patient care, such as documentation and reporting.

**Qualifications**:

- **Educational Qualifications**:

- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) or equivalent medical degree.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
