**Job Title - Lead Business Functional Analyst, AVP**

**Location - Pune, India**

The teams work closely with the business units and other infrastructure units to modernize their IT systems to reduce complexity, minimize risk, and enable growth. As a **Business Analyst **, you analyze the business needs, requirements and pass them on to the team members in the form of user stories which then could be developed and delivered to the Business. You also drive operational excellence in order to improve the quality and functionality of our payment platforms. As part of the scrum team, you will be supporting the product owner in:

- User story gathering
- User story writing
- Acceptance Criteria
- Acceptance Test cases
- Backlog refinement

You will be part of the Outsourced Payment Consolidation Product (OPC) squad which is responsible for the delivery and design of full payment engine serving large corporate and VIP clients of the bank. **Your key responsibilities**:

- Design and develop new functionality and support existing Payments systems
- Work with the team on functional and non-functional requirements, technical analysis and design
- Testing & reviewing other team member’s changes
- Document business and functional requirements in User Stories, design decisions and API
- Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
- Contribute to the definition of the future state of the payments system architecture
- When product and architecture experience gained, mentor and direct more junior engineers

**Your skills and experience**:
**Must have skills**
- In-depth knowledge of Payment Processing for common Payment products (SWIFT, SEPA)
- Knowledge of ISO20022 financial service messages.
- Understanding of Booking logic and reconciliation processes for Banks
- Good documentations and communication skills
- Understanding of business and operational needs.
- Very strong track records on implementation of payment system into bank environments.
- Working practice in projects under AGILE and SCRUM metrology
- Toolset knowledge (JIRA, Confluence, Cucumber etc).
- Knowledge in Cucumber
- Good knowledge in BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development)
- Experience in agile & dev ops software engineering
- Ability to synthesize, visualize and communicate ideas to others in order to explain complex topic into simple terms.
- Ability to understand how to sequence the given tasks in order to get products implemented.
- Ability to write simple PL/SQL queries.

**Nice to have skills**:

- Analyzing and specifying micros services communicating via REST APIs
- Co-working with QA team on test automation of new and existing functionality
- Participating in SDLC steps and supervising the feature from analysis phase to Production delivery
- Event streaming and message brokers

**Experience and qualifications**:

- 10+ years with minimum 5 years in Payments and FX
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer-Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent)
