Area Sales Officer

**Description**:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Area Sales Officer (ASO) to join our dynamic team in the dairy industry. The ASO will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, ensuring efficient sales operations, and maintaining strong customer relationships. **Key Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Distributor Management**
- New Distributor Appointment: Ensure the selection of the right individuals.
- Area Allocation for New Distributor: Ensure allocation without disputes.
- Ensure clear communication without making wrong commitments.
- Proper Utilization of Field Assistants: Utilize retailer data efficiently.
- Assist supporting agents in boosting sales.
- Manage company assets and outstanding accounts.

**2.** **Customer Service and Expansion**
- Ensure Good Service to Existing Distributors: Prevent stock outs and maintain good service.
- Finding outlets to discover more exclusive branding opportunities.
- Relay customer feedback to higher levels.
- Monitor and report competitor activities, pricing, new products, and brands.
- Ensure timely submission of daily reports and expenses.
- Minimize unnecessary expenses, including fuel and transport costs.
- Create profitable distribution routes.

**3.** **Data Management and Communication**
- Maintain monthly account balancing by distributor.
- Ensure accuracy in tray data compared to distributor volume.
- Foster good relationships with stakeholders - Distributors, Dealers, and Retailers
- Maintain lists of MSOs/MCOs where distributors and dealers supply.
- Store personal addresses and contact numbers of distributors, dealers, and outlets.
- Share competitor information according to standard frequency and format.
- Share reports according to standard frequency and format.

**Promoter’s Roles and Responsibilities**:
**1.** **Product Knowledge and Market Operations**
- Promoters should possess comprehensive knowledge of all our products, including their variety, variants, and pricing.
- Promoters' working hours in the market are crucial and should align with distributor market opening and closing times.
- Daily responsibilities include monitoring distributor opening and closing stock. If any products are out of stock, promoters should ensure the placement of primary orders.
- During market visits, promoters should carry sample products, retailers' price lists, and point-of-purchase (POP) materials.
- Daily targets include visiting a minimum of 50 shops, with at least 20 shops placing orders.
- Promoters should gather market feedback and suggestions from customers and relay them to the next level.
- It's essential for promoters not to make misleading commitments to retailers regarding orders, such as expiry, returns, price discounts, or offers.

**2.** **Relationship Building and Sales Growth**
- The primary objective for promoters is to establish strong relationships with distributors and retailers, as these relationships contribute to regular business.
- A key role for promoters is to prevent stock outs at distributor points and facilitate repeated primary orders.
- Promoters are responsible for adhering to reporting guidelines, including the timely submission of Daily Sales Reports (DSR) and other company norms.
- Ultimately, promoters should strive to contribute to the company's revenue growth and aim for promotion to the role of ASO.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or a related role in the dairy industry is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of dairy products and the dairy industry is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
