**About the Job**
As a **Land Surveyor**, you will play a key role in conducting precise measurements and assessments of land to determine property boundaries, topography, and site conditions. You will be responsible for collecting accurate field data, preparing survey reports, and collaborating with design and construction teams to ensure projects are executed seamlessly. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong analytical skills.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Conducting Field Surveys**:
- Perform detailed land surveys using instruments like GPS, total stations, levels, and drones.
- Measure angles, distances, and elevations to collect accurate site data.
- Ensure data collection follows project specifications and legal requirements.
- **Boundary Identification and Verification**:
- Identify, mark, and verify property boundaries based on legal descriptions and historical records.
- Resolve discrepancies in boundary lines through detailed research and field analysis.
- Prepare official boundary reports and documentation.
- **Topographic and Site Analysis**:
- Survey and map land features, including terrain, structures, and utilities.
- Collect and analyze topographic data to support project planning and design.
- Identify site constraints and provide solutions for design teams.
- **Data Processing and Analysis**:
- Process field data using survey software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
- Analyze and interpret data to create accurate maps, plans, and reports.
- Cross-verify data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- **Preparing Survey Reports and Drawings**:
- Develop detailed survey reports, plats, and technical drawings.
- Create maps and diagrams to support legal documents, permits, and project plans.
- Ensure all documents are clear, accurate, and meet regulatory standards.
- **Collaboration with Project Teams**:
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and government officials.
- Provide survey data and insights to support project decisions.
- Attend project meetings to discuss survey results and progress.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Calibration**:
- Maintain and calibrate surveying instruments for accuracy.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and functioning of all equipment.
- Report and arrange repairs for any damaged equipment.
- **Regulatory Compliance and Quality Control**:
- Ensure surveys comply with local regulations, safety guidelines, and industry standards.
- Conduct quality checks to identify and correct errors in survey data.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes.
- **Site Inspections and Monitoring**:
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and verify design alignment.
- Identify potential issues and propose solutions related to site conditions.
- Document site conditions and report findings to project stakeholders.
- **Continuous Learning and Development**:
- Stay updated with advancements in surveying technology and techniques.
- Attend training programs and workshops to enhance skills.
- Implement new methods to improve survey efficiency and accuracy.
**Key Skills and Qualifications**:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proficiency in surveying instruments (GPS, total stations, levels) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS).
- Strong understanding of land survey principles, property laws, and mapping techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical stamina for fieldwork in various environments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory standards.
Pay: ₹11,157.50 - ₹50,000.00 per month
