Here are the primary **roles and responsibilities** of a CAD designer in this field:
**1. Jewellery Design Development**
- Create intricate 3D models of jewellery designs using CAD software such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, or ZBrush.
- Collaborate with designers, clients, and stakeholders to understand design concepts and translate them into digital models.
- Ensure designs adhere to brand guidelines, client specifications, and market trends.

**2. Technical Detailing and Accuracy**
- Ensure designs are technically feasible for manufacturing, including accurate measurements, stone placements, and metal thicknesses.
- Include technical details such as prong settings, claw dimensions, or channel settings to ensure practical usability and durability.

**3. Prototyping and Rendering**
- Generate high-quality renders and realistic visuals of jewellery designs to present to clients or marketing teams.
- Prepare files for rapid prototyping, 3D printing, or CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) processes.

**4. Collaboration with Production Teams**
- Work closely with the production and casting teams to ensure the design translates smoothly into physical pieces.
- Troubleshoot and revise designs if challenges arise during manufacturing.

**5. Market and Trend Research**
- Stay updated with the latest trends in jewellery design, including new styles, materials, and manufacturing techniques.
- Incorporate innovative ideas and technologies into designs to stay competitive in the market.

**6. Customization and Client Interaction**
- Customize jewellery designs for bespoke or personalized orders based on client preferences.
- Provide technical advice to clients about feasibility, materials, and potential design modifications.

**7. File and Data Management**
- Organize and maintain a library of design files for future reference and reuse.
- Ensure all digital files are backed up and comply with industry-standard formats.

**Skills and Competencies**

To excel as a CAD designer in the jewellery industry, one must possess:

- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, JewelCAD).
- Knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to visualize concepts in 3D and translate them into functional designs.
- Communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration.

**JEWELLERY INDUSTRY CANDIDATES WILL BE PREFFERED**

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
