**Procurement Management**: Oversee end-to-end procurement processes for both direct and indirect materials, including raw materials, components, and services.
- **Vendor Development**: Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new suppliers; negotiate contracts and terms to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality standards.
- **Inventory Control**: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations; collaborate with production planning teams to align procurement with production schedules.
- **Import and Local Sourcing**: Handle both import and local procurement activities; ensure compliance with customs regulations and manage logistics for timely delivery.
- **Quality Assurance**: Coordinate with quality assurance teams to evaluate and ensure the quality of purchased materials; address any quality issues promptly.
- **Cost Optimization**: Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality; conduct market research to identify cost-effective sourcing options.
- **Compliance and Documentation**: Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards; maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
