**Position**: Assistant Baker
**Location**: Middleton Street
**Working Hours**: 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, desserts and cakes according to established recipes.
- Ensure the consistency and quality of baked goods through precise measurements and baking techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including equipment, utensils, and workstations.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop new recipes and menu items.
- Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and food handling procedures.
- Assist in the decoration and presentation of baked goods to enhance visual appeal.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and fulfilling special requests.

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a baker or in a similar role is compulsory.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work with fondant.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality baked goods and beverages.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy ingredients and equipment.
