JOB PROFILE: CONFECTIONERY COORDINATOR
ACCOUNTABILITY:
- Will be accountable for timely delivery of made to order cakes.
- Co-ordination with Team on Production plan based On Indent
- Proper indent of raw materials and packing materials to confectionery department.
- FIFO of ready to sale of Fresh Cream cakes, Butter cream cakes, Pastries and Confectionery Desserts.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Ability to manage time and deliver the orders on time
- Knowledge of confectionery and services offered.
- Knowledge of indent raising, ability to use computer to raise indent in Tally.
- Knowledge of FIFO and Food safety and Hygiene
- Photo editing skills.
- Communication skills required (Tamil and English)
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION: Any Degree preferably in Hotel management or diploma in bakery & confectionery.
WORK EXPERIENCE: 1 to 2 years of Supervisory experience in any field on team handling.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accountable for timely delivery of made to order cakes.
- Gather details of made to order cakes form all the outlets in advance.
- Co-ordinate scheduled delivery of products as per commitment given to customers.
- Coordinate with logistics coordinator to dispatch the orders cakes based on indent well in advance.
- Provide necessary handling and storage instructions to customers and drivers for specialized cakes
- Schedule calls with customers to get more details for cake orders.
- Cake writing on the cake.
Co-ordination with Team on Production plan based On Indent
- Discuss with Masters On production based on Indent (First,Second and Third)
- Communicate Sponge requirements and other Raw material requirements with production manager.
Proper indent of raw materials and packing materials to confectionery department.
- Raising indent for confectionery kitchen and procure raw materials from the master store and packaging store.
- Maintain a stock of mini store in the kitchen
- Make the production schedule in consultation with the master based on shop indent.
- Coordinate with purchase coordinator in procurement of purchase like toys etc.
FIFO of ready to sale cakes
- Periodically check on dates of Sponges, Finished Cakes, Pastries and Desserts.
- Daily provide stock on hand Report on Sponges, Finished Cakes, Pastries and Desserts with Manufacturing Dates.
REPORTING TO: Operation Manger
RELATIONSHIP TO BE MAINTAINED: Logistics coordinators, store manager, sales teams, Purchase coordinator, Store Incharge, customers, Cake baking masters.
REPORTING MECHANISM:
- Daily raw material indent list.
- Daily finished goods production list.
- Daily schedule of made to order cakes.
- Maintain of record of cake orders.
- Stock on hand report with Date of production
