**Job Title: Endoscopy Technician**

**Location**: Dr. N. Y. Tasgaonkar Institute of Medical Science, Karjat
**Department**: Endoscopy Unit / Gastroenterology
**Reporting To**: Consultant Gastroenterologist / Nursing In-Charge

**Job Purpose**

The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for assisting physicians and nursing staff during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, ensuring proper handling and maintenance of endoscopic equipment, and providing safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Patient Care & Procedure Assistance**
- Prepare procedure room, equipment, and supplies for endoscopic procedures.
- Assist doctors and nurses during endoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, and related procedures.
- Provide support in patient positioning, monitoring, and post-procedure recovery.
- Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards.

**Equipment Handling & Maintenance**
- Operate, clean, and maintain endoscopes, video processors, light sources, and other related instruments.
- Perform leak testing, proper disinfection, and storage of endoscopic equipment.
- Monitor equipment functionality and promptly report malfunctions or required repairs.

**Documentation & Coordination**
- Maintain accurate records of procedures, sterilization logs, and equipment usage.
- Assist in inventory management of endoscopy supplies and consumables.
- Coordinate with nursing and medical staff to ensure smooth workflow in the unit.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- **Education**: Diploma / Certificate in Endoscopy Technology, OT Technology, or equivalent paramedical qualification.
- **Experience**: 1-3 years of experience in endoscopy / OT / gastroenterology unit preferred (freshers with training can also apply).

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
