Food Technologist

**Role Description**:
This is a full-time on-site role at PositiveGems located in Gurugram for a Food Technologist. The Food Technologist will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with Sensory Evaluation, Food Technology, Laboratory Skills, Quality Control, and Research and Development (R&D).

**Responsibilities**:
1. Product Development:
Conduct research to identify market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies.

Develop new food products from concept to commercialization, considering factors such as taste, texture, nutritional value, and cost.

2. Recipe Formulation:
Formulate and optimize recipes to meet specified product requirements and quality standards.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful scale-up of formulations for production.

3. Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain quality control procedures to ensure consistent product quality.

Conduct sensory evaluations and implement necessary adjustments to meet quality benchmarks.

4. Regulatory Compliance:
Stay updated on food regulations and ensure that all products comply with local, national, and international food safety standards.

Assist in the preparation of regulatory documentation and product labeling.

5. Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in existing product lines.

Collaborate with production teams to implement process changes and enhancements.

6. Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to align product development with business goals.

Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality raw materials and ingredients.

7. Documentation:
Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all research, development, and testing activities.

Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation for new and existing products.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in food product development and technology.
- Strong knowledge of food processing, preservation, and packaging techniques.
- Good Technical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Salary As per Market Standard

**Salary**: ₹14,986.55 - ₹30,000.00 per month
