Grade : Mumbai and Pune Grade: B Role Description:PostGres & MySQL DBA AWS and Azure Roles and Responsibilities: 1. Monitoring the Database performance (Load and performance: below and above threshold) Active monitoring with alerts when the DB performance degrades below a configurable threshold Active monitoring with alert when DB load crosses a configurable threshold 2. Health check report every month regarding the DB and server performance -Monthly Statistical report on DB performance Server performance with highlight component which reach a critical threshold 3. Complete Performance tuning activitity of PostgreSQL DB. -Technical support in DB Optimizing -Support in SQL query resolution 4. Upgrades and Patching of Postgresql Cluster We do not have DB level patching in PostgreSQL like Oracle or SQL we can only perform OS level Patching ? done by Unix team so far; We can perform Major version or Minor version upgrades of the PostgreSQL cluster) -Technical Support in case of DB configuration / upgrades / issues -Patch upgrades -Applying automated upgrades Good To Have Skills:mySQL and Postgres DBA Must To Have Skills:DBA
