Junior Quality Checker

**Job Title**: Quality Checker (Garment Manufacturing) Vapi

**Job Purpose**:
To ensure garments meet the required quality standards by performing inspections at various stages of production — from fabric cutting to final finishing — and reporting any defects or deviations.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect garments during inline production, finishing, and packing stages.
- Check for defects in stitching, measurements, trims, labels, and overall workmanship.
- Verify quality parameters as per style specs and buyer requirements.
- Maintain records of inspection reports and rejection data.
- Segregate defective pieces and coordinate with production for rework.
- Ensure adherence to AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) standards.
- Report quality issues promptly to the line supervisor or QA manager.
- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene practices during inspections.

**Requirements**:

- **Experience**: Minimum 1-2 years in garment quality checking (CMT / woven / knit garments).
- **Education**: 10th/12th Pass or Diploma in Garment Technology (preferred).
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of garment construction and stitching techniques.
- Basic understanding of measurement specs and quality parameters.
- Attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Familiarity with inspection tools like measuring tape, needle detector, etc.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.

**Performance Indicators**:

- Accuracy of defect detection
- Number of reworks due to missed defects
- Timeliness in reporting issues
- Compliance with inspection checklists and documentation

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
