**General Manager (Biodiesel Production)**

**Basic Job Description**

We are looking for an experienced and responsible General Manager - Biodiesel Production will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of biodiesel production, including planning, execution, quality control, process optimization, and team leadership. This role ensures that biodiesel is produced safely, cost-effectively, and in compliance with environmental and regulatory standards, while also meeting company production targets.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

**1.**Production Management**:

- Lead and manage day-to-day biodiesel production operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, yield, cost, quality, and downtime.
- Maintain high standards of plant productivity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

**2.**Process Optimization**:

- Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement strategies.
- Introduce best practices in biodiesel production (transesterification, feedstock pre-treatment, glycerol separation, etc.).
- Evaluate new technologies and process enhancements for improved yield and energy efficiency.

**3.**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure biodiesel meets or exceeds relevant standards (ASTM D6751, EN 14214).
- Collaborate with quality control teams to implement testing protocols and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and maintain product consistency across batches.

**4.**Team Leadership**
- Manage and lead a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
- Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and professional development initiatives.

**5.**Safety & Compliance**
- Enforce strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments.
- Maintain all necessary permits and documentation related to biodiesel production.
- Inventory & Resource Management
- Monitor raw material usage and coordinate with procurement to ensure continuous supply of feedstock.
- Manage inventories of chemicals, additives, and finished product.

**6.**Reporting & Coordination**:

- Provide regular reports on production performance to senior management.
- Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, logistics, and R&D teams to align operations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, or related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications may be preferred.
- Proven experience10 years in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants, with specific experience in ETPs preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations, permitting requirements, and industry best practices related to wastewater treatment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of professionals.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on optimizing plant performance and efficiency.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and third-party vendors.

**Job Location**:Sangat Kalan, Bathinda (Punjab).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
