The Lower Primary School Principal plays a vital role in providing leadership and guidance to ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the lower primary school section. They are responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, promoting academic excellence, and supporting the holistic development of students.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Educational Leadership**:
- Provide visionary leadership to the lower primary school section, setting strategic goals and objectives aligned with the school's mission and vision.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the quality of education and student outcomes.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among faculty, staff, students, and parents.
- **Curriculum Development and Implementation**:
- Oversee the development, review, and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that meets academic standards and promotes student engagement and success.
- Monitor curriculum delivery to ensure alignment with best practices, educational standards, and student needs.
- Support teachers in designing effective instructional strategies and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- **Student Support and Welfare**:
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students.
- Implement proactive measures to address student concerns, behavior management, and discipline issues in accordance with school policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to provide appropriate interventions and support services for students with diverse learning needs.
- **Staff Development and Management**:
- Recruit, select, and retain qualified faculty and staff members who are dedicated to the school's mission and values.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and satisfaction of faculty and staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize and reward exemplary performance.
- **Parent and Community Engagement**:
- Cultivate positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the broader community through effective communication, outreach activities, and involvement in school events.
- Collaborate with parents and community stakeholders to promote parental involvement, volunteerism, and support for the school's educational programs and initiatives.
**Basic Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade).
- **Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- **Empathy**: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face.
- **Organizational Skills**: Effective organization and time management skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Valid teaching certification and administrative licensure.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership roles, preferably as a principal or assistant principal in a primary school setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational technology.
- Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education.
- Fluent in English communication.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
