**Charge Entry/ Demo Entry**

** Purpose**:
To accurately input all service and procedure codes, along with associated charges, into the billing system.

** Responsibilities**:

- Translating provider's notes and reports into appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes.
- Entering charges based on fee schedules and established protocols.
- Reviewing claims for accuracy before submission.
- Collaborating with other departments to resolve any coding or charge-related issues.

Verifying patient eligibility with the available online resources based on the project requirement before entering charges

**Demo entry**

** Purpose**:
To accurately and efficiently enter patient demographic and insurance information into the billing system.

** Responsibilities**:

- Verifying patient information, including name, date of birth, address, and contact details.
- Entering and updating insurance policy information.
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all demographic data to prevent claim rejections.
- Cross-referencing information with source documents and E H R IF AVILABLE flagging discrepancies.
