The Principal will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of BCS, responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction. The Principal will ensure the institution's growth, uphold academic standards, and foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
**Responsibilities**:
Leadership and Vision
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to achieve the institution's mission and goals.
- Work closely with school management to develop and implement long-term plans for academic and institutional growth.
- Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement.
Academic Management
- Oversee the academic programs, ensuring high standards of teaching, and student engagement.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and the development of new academic initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE accreditation standards and regulatory requirements; be in-charge of admissions, timetable, allocation of duties and supervision of staff.
Faculty Development
- Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse and highly qualified faculty.
- Encourage faculty involvement in research, professional development, and community engagement.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive academic environment.
Student Affairs
- Promote student success, well-being, and holistic development.
- Enhance student services, support systems, and extracurricular activities.
- Encourage student participation in academic, cultural, and social initiatives.
Administrative Oversight
- Support the institution's resources, including budgeting, financial planning, and infrastructure development.
- Ensure efficient administrative operations and effective use of technology.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and conducive learning environment.
Community and Industry Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with industry, alumni, and other stakeholders.
- Promote partnerships, internships, and collaborative projects with industry and community organizations.
- Represent the institution at local and national forums.
- Dealing with all critical issues pertaining to stakeholders including networking for Brand Building, Promotion and Sustenance.
Governance and Compliance
- Ensure adherence to institutional policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Work closely with the governing body and provide regular reports on institutional performance.
- Ensure transparency and accountability in all institutional activities.
**Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in education or a related field (Doctorate degree preferred).
- Minimum of 12 years of academic experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role, preferably as a Vice Principal or Academic Coordinator.
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading and inspiring a diverse team of educators.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills, with a student-centered approach.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, parents, and the wider community.
- Strong conflict resolution and mediation abilities to address issues and foster a harmonious school environment.
- Exemplary integrity and ethical conduct, serving as a role model for students and staff.
