- Accountable for best-in-class competence in specific domain. Ensuring know-how sharing across teams

Technical expertise
- Responsible for the technical output of given task assignment.
- Responsible for the quality of such output and for defining and executing proper verification and validation plan
- Ensure to explore any solution alternative to carry out task
- Experts follow-up and research technologies in industry, benchmark against competitors
- Experts define and execute own technology roadmap
- Experts assess technology maturity as adopted and propose improvement actions

Ways of working
- Accountable for selecting suitable process, methods, tools etc. on specific competence area in order to ensure deliverable meeting stakeholder requirements
- Ensure to explore any solution alternative to carry out task
- Responsible that own output is properly documented

Develop capabilities
- Expert inspires technology growth insides team.
- Experts create and manage suitable community network, internally and externally, ensuring mutual learning collaboration with partners (vendors, universities, research centers, standardization authorities)
- Experts are accountable for technical decision making on research, investment, technology roadmap for own specific competence area
