Working as a core member of our India team, you will conduct surveys and inspections for our portfolio of clients in the offshore and marine sectors.

**What you will be doing.**:

- Attend or conduct marine warranty surveys, towage approvals, loadouts and single voyages.
- Attend casualty and salvage investigations and determine nature, extent and cause of damage.
- Estimate costs of repairs and subsequently compile reports for Clients.
- Assist in marketing of ABL Maritime and its services.

This position will be based in Mumbai. You must be willing to spend time offshore and be able to undertake assignments at short notice.

**What we are looking for.**:

- Master Mariner (STCW class 1), with significant education and experience.
- At least 5 years relevant experience as Master Mariner or Maritime Consultant.
- Other applicable experience (salvage master, SCR, pilot etc) is beneficial.
- OVID / CMID certification beneficial.
- Experience conducting or supervising surveys and inspections desirable.
