- **Inventory Auditing**:
- Conduct regular physical counts of liquor inventory, including bonded and non-bonded stock.
- Reconcile physical counts with inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and report significant variances to management.
- **Compliance and Reporting**:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements pertaining to liquor storage and distribution.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, discrepancies, and recommendations.
- Coordinate with compliance officers to address any regulatory concerns.
- **Process Improvement**:
- Analyze current inventory control systems and suggest enhancements for efficiency.
- Implement corrective actions to address identified issues in inventory management.
- Train warehouse staff on best practices for inventory handling and record-keeping.
- **Technology Utilization**:
- Utilize inventory management software and ERP systems to track stock movements.
- Maintain updated records of inventory transactions and adjustments.
- **Risk Management**:
- Identify potential risks related to inventory handling and propose mitigation strategies.
- Monitor for signs of theft, damage, or loss and take appropriate action.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in inventory auditing, preferably within the liquor or beverage industry.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to FMCG or liquor storage and distribution.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Experience with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with various inventory management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
**Working Conditions**:
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods.
- Work may involve exposure to varying temperatures within warehouse environments.
- May require travel between multiple warehouse locations.
