**Digital Marketing Trainee**
Are you looking for your first role in digital marketing?? We have a brand-new role as a Digital Marketing Trainee at our Compton group of companies, working across various areas of the business including interior design and travel.

As part of a supportive and innovative marketing team, you will help to shape our social media, make our marketing marvelous and work wonders with our websites. We are looking for someone who is passionate about digital marketing and loves being creative and analytical. There is plenty of potential for this role to grow, giving you a chance to develop further skills in marketing, such as social media, E-Mail newsletters, SEO and analytics.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
**Social Media Management**:

- Keep the content calendar up to date
- Working with the copywriter and graphic designer to create and schedule content.
- Monitor responses and messages and engage with our online community.
- Analyze metrics to boost performance.

**Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)**:

- Conduct keyword research to boost search rankings.
- Optimize content, meta tags, and descriptions for keywords.
- Monitor performance with Google Analytics and Search Console.

**Website Updates/Maintenance**:

- Update content and visuals regularly.
- Create new pages when required.
- Check for missing links and underperforming pages.
- Segment audiences for targeted messaging.
- Analyze and optimise campaign performance.

**Analytics and Reporting**:

- Track KPIs across digital channels.
- Help prepare performance reports.

**Collaboration and Communication**:

- Communicate with the team in Chennai and the UK
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

**Experience**

**Skills and Experience**:

- Fluency in UK English.
- Able to work individually and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Familiar with using social media, preferably in a business setting.
- Strong analytical skills and a love of data.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Professional development - keeping up-to-date with trends, best practices, and new technologies.

**Desirable Skills and Experience**:

- Experience of website CMS such as WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify.
- Knowledge of SEO practices, including optimisation and keyword research.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Tracking and reporting on the ROI and effectiveness of digital marketing initiatives.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
