Restaurant Waiter

As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a key role in ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests. You will be responsible for providing attentive and personalized service, taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. Your primary duties will include:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Greeting and Seating Guests**: Welcome guests warmly as they arrive, escort them to their tables, and provide menus. Assist with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests whenever possible.
- **Taking Orders**: Present menus, describe menu items, and provide recommendations to guests. Take accurate orders and ensure special dietary requirements or preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
- **Food and Beverage Service**: Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately according to established standards. Ensure that all dishes are presented attractively and garnished appropriately. Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- **Upselling and Promotion**: Promote menu items, specials, and promotions to guests and encourage additional orders. Upsell premium beverages, desserts, or other menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- **Maintaining Cleanliness**: Clear tables, reset dining areas, and ensure that all condiments and utensils are stocked appropriately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining room, including cleaning spills, sweeping floors, and wiping surfaces.
- **Handling Payments**: Present bills to guests, process payments accurately, and provide change or receipts as needed. Thank guests for their patronage and invite them to return.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with other staff members, including kitchen staff and fellow servers, to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction. Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding order timing and special requests.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques and etiquette.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing circumstances.

**Education**:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
