We are looking for an **Academic Counselor** to provide academic guidance and support to students. As an Academic Counselor, you will assist students in setting and achieving academic goals, provide advice on course selection, and offer strategies for improving academic performance. You will collaborate closely with faculty, staff, and parents to ensure that students receive the best possible academic experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Student Support**: Advise and guide students in selecting courses that align with their academic and career goals.
- **Academic Planning**: Help students develop academic plans and monitor their progress toward achieving educational milestones.
- **Counseling**: Offer support to students experiencing academic difficulties, providing advice and resources for improvement.
- **Assessment**: Assess students' academic performance and help them identify strategies for academic success.
- **Collaboration**: Work with faculty and administration to track student progress and provide necessary interventions.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of student meetings, advising sessions, and progress notes.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree/ Master's, Counseling, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 06 months to 1 year of experience in academic advising, counseling, or a related role in an educational setting.
- **Skills**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of academic policies, procedures, and educational resources.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to student support.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's
- Masters's

**Salary: 20k -25k**
