Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Visakhapatnam

Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will oversee all aspects of consignment management, including planning, organizing, and tracking shipments from origin to final destination. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with experience in logistics documentation, registration compliance, and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure smooth and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
Consignment Management:
Coordinate and manage shipments from dispatch to delivery, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.

Develop and implement tracking systems to monitor shipment progress and handle any delays or issues that may arise.

Documentation and Compliance:
Prepare and review all necessary shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates, and customs documents.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including necessary import/export registrations and documentation.

Vendor and Carrier Coordination:
Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and third-party service providers to arrange transportation and negotiate terms.

Schedule pick-up and delivery times and maintain communication with logistics partners for updates on shipments.

Inventory and Order Management:
Collaborate with the inventory team to monitor stock levels and plan shipments to meet order deadlines.

Update order status and maintain accurate inventory records to avoid overstock or shortages.

Regulatory Compliance and Registrations:
Ensure shipments comply with all local, state, and international transportation laws.

Manage all import/export registrations, including license renewals and record-keeping, as required.

Problem Resolution:
Proactively identify potential issues in the logistics process and work with relevant teams to resolve them.

Address and resolve shipment and delivery delays, working with customs and border agencies when necessary.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in logistics coordination, with strong knowledge of documentation and compliance.

Familiarity with customs regulations, transportation modes, and import/export requirements.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills to coordinate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.

Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Preferred Skills:
Certification in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.

Knowledge of freight forwarding and warehousing.

Experience with ERP or logistics management software.

Pay: ₹15,000.36 - ₹25,000.22 per month
