**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Teaching & Curriculum Delivery**:

- Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in **Accountancy**, ensuring alignment with GSEB syllabus.
- Guide students in understanding **Financial Statements, Partnership Accounts, Company Accounts, and Accounting for Non-Profit Organizations**.
- Incorporate digital tools and technology into teaching for enhanced learning.
- **Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring**:

- Conduct periodic assessments, tests, and examinations as per the CBSE guidelines.
- Evaluate and grade students’ assignments, projects, and answer scripts.
- Provide **constructive feedback** to students and suggest ways for improvement.
- **Academic Support & Guidance**:

- Assist students in developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Provide extra support to students who need additional help through remedial classes.
- Guide students in preparing for **board exams and career opportunities** in commerce.
- **Classroom Management & Discipline**:

- Maintain discipline and a **positive learning environment** in the classroom.
- Encourage student participation and foster an interactive learning atmosphere.
- **Collaboration & School Activities**:

- Work closely with the **Commerce Department**, attending meetings and contributing to curriculum planning.
- Assist in **co-curricular activities, commerce fairs, business quizzes, and field visits**.
- Coordinate with parents regarding students' academic progress and performance.
- **Administrative Responsibilities**:

- Maintain **accurate student records, attendance, and performance reports**.
- Ensure timely completion of syllabus as per the academic calendar.
- Support the school management in any additional administrative duties related to academics.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- **Educational Qualification**:

- **Master’s Degree (M.Com / MBA Finance) or equivalent** in Accountancy/Commerce.
- **B.Ed.**:

- **Experience**:

- Minimum **2-5 years of teaching experience** at the **higher secondary level**.
- **Key Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of **accounting concepts and financial principles**.
- Excellent **communication and presentation skills**.
- Ability to **motivate and engage students**.
- Proficiency in using **digital tools and MS Office** for teaching and assessments.
