**Job Summary**:
A **Chocolate Product Developer** is responsible for researching, designing, and developing new chocolate-based products for a confectionery company. They combine food science, culinary expertise, and market trends to create innovative chocolate treats while ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves working closely with R&D, production, marketing, and quality assurance teams.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Product Development & Innovation**:

- Design and develop new chocolate products, including bars, truffles, pralines, and other confections.
- Experiment with flavors, textures, fillings, and ingredients to create unique offerings.
- Improve existing chocolate products based on consumer preferences and company goals.
- **Recipe Formulation & Testing**:

- Develop and refine chocolate formulations for taste, texture, shelf life, and production feasibility.
- Conduct sensory evaluations and trials to test product quality.
- Work with food scientists and chocolatiers to optimize recipes.
- **Ingredient Sourcing & Quality Control**:

- Select high-quality cocoa, dairy, sweeteners, and other ingredients.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source new and sustainable ingredients.
- **Production & Process Optimization**:

- Work with manufacturing teams to scale recipes for mass production.
- Troubleshoot production challenges and refine processes to ensure consistency.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- **Market Research & Trend Analysis**:

- Monitor chocolate industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
- Identify gaps in the market and propose innovative solutions.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align products with brand identity.
- **Regulatory & Compliance**:

- Ensure all products comply with food safety regulations and labeling requirements.
- Conduct stability and shelf-life testing.
- Maintain documentation for regulatory approvals.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years in chocolate/confectionery development, R&D, or food manufacturing.
- **Technical Skills**: Knowledge of chocolate processing, tempering, formulation, and sensory analysis.
- **Creativity**: Strong innovation skills to develop new flavors and concepts.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to troubleshoot production issues and improve product formulations.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensuring quality control and consistency in chocolate products.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
