**Title**:Legal Associate (Trademark and Litigation)**:
- Date: Nov 26, 2024- Location: Sun House - Corporate Office- Company: Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd**Position Title: Legal Associate (Trademark and Litigation)**
**Who you are**:
- **Experience**: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in domestic trademark
- **Education**:Graduate in B.A or B Com, LLB
- **Skills**:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Team player
- Able to quickly learn and adapt to new technology platforms and software tools
- Proficient in MS Office and other standard business software
**Your Tasks and Responsibilities**:
- Conducting domestic Trademark Searches and sharing opinion to the stakeholders
- Scrutiny of Bills/ Invoices and Expenses management
- Communication with Local attorneys and Stake holders
- Briefing / coordinating external Counsels/ Attorney’s globally
- Drafting cease and desist letters, settlement agreements, and other legal correspondence
- Screening of Trademark Journals, various database, online portals for checking conflicting trademarks (domestic)
- Managing case files and maintaining detailed records of all case-related activities
- Conduct detailed legal research and analyse complex legal issues
- Develop strategies for effective Litigation management and risk mitigation
- Attending personal hearings before Trademark and Registrar of Companies and
- Preparing and updating case summaries, Record keeping and database management and other duties, as assigned
- Travelling within and out of Mumbai for trademark related works
- Knowledge of overseas trademark (good to have)
