**Job Description: Political Science Teacher (CBSE 11th and 12th Grade)**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement a well-structured curriculum that aligns with the CBSE syllabus for 11th and 12th-grade Political Science.
- Develop lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments to facilitate effective learning outcomes.
- Conduct interactive and engaging classroom sessions to foster student interest in Political Science and encourage critical thinking and analysis.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and techniques, such as lectures, discussions, multimedia presentations, and group activities, to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote active participation.
- Provide guidance and support to students, both inside and outside the classroom, to ensure their academic progress and personal development.
- Assess student performance regularly through tests, assignments, projects, and examinations, and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant data.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in the field of political science, current affairs, and educational methodologies to continually improve teaching practices.
- Collaborate with colleagues to exchange ideas, share resources, and contribute to the overall development of the Political Science department.
- Organize and participate in parent-teacher meetings, workshops, seminars, and other school activities as required.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that respects diversity, encourages open dialogue, and promotes ethical and responsible citizenship.

**Qualifications**:

- A Master's degree in Political Science or a related field is required. A Ph.D. in Political Science will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Political Science at the high school level, preferably with CBSE 11th and 12th-grade students.
- In-depth knowledge of political science concepts, theories, and global current affairs.
- Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum and assessment patterns for 11th and 12th-grade Political Science.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student learning and development.
- Demonstrated ability to employ various teaching methodologies and techniques to cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent organizational skills to plan lessons, assessments, and manage student records efficiently.
- A passion for teaching, along with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and tools to enhance teaching and learning experiences.

**Salary**: ₹300,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
