**Position Title: Restaurant Storekeeper**

Job Summary:
The restaurant storekeeper is responsible for maintaining proper levels of inventory, managing stock, and ensuring the availability of necessary supplies for the restaurant's operations. This position involves maintaining accurate records of stock transactions, receiving deliveries, and organizing storage areas efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
**1. Inventory Management**:

- Maintain optimal levels of stock to meet operational needs while minimizing excess inventory.
- Regularly monitor inventory levels and place orders for replenishment as needed.
- Conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
- Implement systems to track expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly.

**2. Receiving and Inspecting Deliveries**:

- Receive deliveries of goods and supplies, verifying the accuracy of quantities and quality of products.
- Inspect deliveries for any damage and report discrepancies or issues to the appropriate parties.
- Properly store received items in designated areas, ensuring proper handling and storage conditions.

**3. Storage and Organization**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization in storage areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and dry storage areas.
- Utilize FIFO (first in, first out) method to ensure older stock is used first to minimize wastage.
- Label and categorize items for easy identification and retrieval.

**4. Documentation and Record Keeping**:

- Keep detailed records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions.
- Generate reports on inventory status, usage, and trends as required.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for food storage and handling.

**5. Collaboration and Communication**:

- Coordinate with kitchen staff, purchasing department, and other relevant teams to forecast inventory needs.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding orders, deliveries, and any issues that arise.
- Work closely with the finance department to reconcile invoices and ensure accurate billing.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role, preferably in the restaurant industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in inventory management software or systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in hospitality or supply chain management is desirable.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
