**Job Title**: Storekeeper

**Location**: Barmer, Rajasthan

**Salary**: ₹20,000 - ₹25,000 per month

**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of all spare parts, including quantities and locations.
- Regularly update inventory management software to reflect current stock levels.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
- **Stock Maintenance**:

- Ensure adequate stock levels of spare parts are maintained to support operational requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder spares as necessary to avoid shortages.
- Handle the receipt, storage, and issuance of spare parts efficiently.
- **Inward/Outward Record Management**:

- Record all incoming and outgoing spare parts accurately.
- Verify and inspect received spare parts for quality and quantity against purchase orders.
- Manage and document the return of defective or surplus items to suppliers.
- **Planning and Procurement**:

- Forecast spare parts requirements based on usage patterns and equipment maintenance schedules.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to place orders for spare parts in a timely manner.
- Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best terms and pricing for spare parts.
- **Computer Proficiency**:

- Generate inventory reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all records and transactions.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma in a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in inventory management, preferably with heavy mining equipment spares.
- Proficiency in using computers and inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

**Preferred Attributes**:

- Knowledge of spare parts specific to heavy mining equipment.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in inventory management.
