**Job description**:
Inspection of Inward Material, Line Inspection, Final Inspection & Making PDI Reports.
- Day to day work planning to fulfill the customer requirements & organizing production schedules.
- Manpower planning and perfect utilization of resources.
- Perform various tests like Retort Test, Acetone Test, Scratch Test, Tape Test. CuSo4 Test.
- In-house rejection control activity (conducting special activities in line to reduce defects).
- Preparing the LSD for the new Art Work.
- Reductions in scrap waste by constant monitoring.
- Overseeing purchasing and logistics activities across the company.
- Material planning to support production, based on the requirement and the forecast.
- Establishing second source for raw materials across India and overseas market.
- Taking care of material follow up, to maintain daily stock as per production schedule norms, Supplier payments as per PO terms, Monitoring physical stock, material transactions. - Cost reduction exercise from existing suppliers by alternate suppliers, material and alternate process.
- Responsible for import and export dealings & Communicating with freight forwarder for getting the customs clearance & getting the export proof with in time.
- Ensuring on-time delivery of the consignment and no line stoppages.
- Coordinating with the stores and buyer on quality of the goods received and in-turn reverting to the principals if required in case of any rejections/damage, short/excess supply, wrong supply etc. Inspection of all first off components as per the customer requirements. - Knowledge on measuring instruments like CMM, Profile projector, Rapid I, Vernier caliper, Height gauges, Slip gauges etc
- Inspection of inward material for all components ensuring compliance to design specification.
- Conducting SPC, Calibration, MSA and practicing 7QC tools.
- Conducting Stage inspection audit & final box audit before dispatch to FPS unit.
- Involvement in 5s activities.
- Preparation & Update Visual guidelines for product.
- Online Inspection & taking an independent decision for any shop floor product & Quality related Issues and Process controlling as per customer requirement.
- Quality training and guidance to team members to accomplish production goals & Co-ordination with production team.
- Handling up of trainees & Manpower allotment, Monitoring the output, losses & rejections.
- Ensure to reach the daily targets, coordinating with the finishing line to ensure deliveries on time to the customers.
- Active Team member for Continuous Improvements activities. Inspection of Extruded sample from the press as per the customer requirement.
- Inspecting the surface finish for Anodizing & Powder Coating by performing the test such as Sealing test, Micron measurement test.
- Responsible for inspection of the samples which has to be sent to customer for the approval.
- Reading and understanding product schematics and assembly instructions for fabrication parts
- Verifying dimensions and product specifications & Hardness checking by Webster & BHN - Preparing Quality Inspection reports & Production reports & Ageing Reports.
- Monitoring the online inspection & instrument calibration status.
- Perform other related duties that may be assigned from time to time by the QA/QC Manager for accomplishing the objectives of the company
