**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting and Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank statements.
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
- Generate reports for management to track company performance, budgets, and forecasts.
- **Accounts Payable and Receivable**:

- Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, ensuring timely payments to suppliers and vendors.
- Oversee accounts receivable by ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices and maintaining customer relationships.
- Perform reconciliations of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in bank balances, payments, and receipts.
- **Taxation**:

- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws and deadlines.
- Stay updated on tax changes and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.
- Support audits and handle communication with tax authorities when required.
- **Payroll Support**:

- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate employee payments, deductions, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate records of employee working hours, leave, and other payroll-related matters.
- **Financial Analysis and Budgeting**:

- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports and budgets.
- Provide data-driven insights for cost-cutting measures, revenue growth, and financial optimization.
- **Inventory and Fixed Asset Management**:

- Assist in tracking and reconciling inventory and fixed assets.
- Ensure proper accounting of asset depreciation and inventory turnover.
- **Compliance and Internal Controls**:

- Adhere to internal controls and company policies for all accounting procedures.
- Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- **Communication and Reporting**:

- Liaise with vendors, customers, and internal teams to resolve accounting issues.
- Provide timely updates to the senior accounting team or management about financial matters.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- **Educational Background**: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- **Experience**: At least [X] years of experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
- **Knowledge of Accounting Software**: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
- **Analytical Skills**: Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze financial data.
- **Communication Skills**: Good verbal and written communication skills for reporting and interacting with team members and clients.
- **Time Management**: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- **Tax Knowledge**: Understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- **Problem-Solving**: Ability to identify discrepancies and resolve financial issues efficiently.
