We are recruiting for the following requirement.

**Skill:API Testing**

**Exp: 3-8yrs**

**Location:Bangalore**

**Responsibilities**:

- **API Testing**:

- Design, implement, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for APIs.
- Conduct thorough testing of API functionalities to ensure reliability, accuracy, and performance.
- Collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve issues promptly.
- **Manual Testing**:

- Create and execute manual test cases based on project requirements.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the quality of the software throughout the development lifecycle.
- **Test Automation**:

- Contribute to the development of automated test scripts for API testing.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and collaborate with the automation team for implementation.
- **Defect Tracking and Reporting**:

- Document and track defects, ensuring their resolution and providing detailed reports to the development team.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on testing progress and issue resolution.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.
- Communicate effectively within the QA team and across departments to promote a collaborative work environment.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in QA and testing.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the organization.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 3-8 years in API testing and manual testing.
- Strong understanding of API technologies, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Experience with testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Proficiency in creating and executing SQL queries for backend testing.
- Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
