Fabric Incharge

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Fabric Procurement**:

- Source and purchase fabrics based on production requirements, working with suppliers to secure the best quality at competitive prices.
- Negotiate terms with vendors, including pricing, delivery timelines, and quality standards.

2. **Inventory Management**:

- Maintain accurate records of fabric inventory, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet production schedules.
- Implement inventory control measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.

3. **Quality Assurance**:

- Inspect fabrics upon receipt to ensure they meet the company’s quality specifications, including color, texture, weight, and durability.
- Coordinate with the quality control team to address any fabric defects and liaise with suppliers for returns or replacements.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain comprehensive documentation of fabric purchases, supplier details, quality reports, and inventory logs.
- Prepare regular reports on fabric usage, stock levels, and upcoming requirements for production planning.

5. **Supplier Management**:

- Build and maintain relationships with fabric suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Evaluate supplier performance and source new suppliers as needed to ensure competitive pricing and quality.

6. **Cost Management**:

- Work closely with the finance and production teams to manage fabric budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
- Monitor fabric costs and seek ways to reduce expenses through strategic purchasing and negotiation.

7. **Sustainability and Compliance**:

- Ensure that fabrics sourced comply with any relevant environmental and ethical standards as required by the company or clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends regarding sustainable and eco-friendly materials.

8. **Problem Solving**:

- Address and resolve any issues related to fabric quality, shortages, or supplier disputes in a timely manner to minimize production impact.
- Implement solutions to prevent recurring issues with fabric quality or delivery.

Qualifications and Experience:

- **Experience**: 3-5 years of experience in fabric management, sourcing, or quality control in the garment industry.
- **Software Skills**: Familiarity with inventory management tools and systems (e.g., ERP software) and Microsoft Excel.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
