- Splice fiber optic cables to create seamless connections between two fibers
- Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of fiber optic networks
- Inspect and clean connectors as needed

- Fiber Optic Testing
- Fiber Optic Troubleshooting
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate and maintain fiber splicing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret splicing diagrams and drawings
- Knowledge of construction and maintenance of fiber communications systems
- Ability to work independently and to work in a team environment
- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
