IT Network Technician

Key Responsibilities:
1. Network Setup and Installation
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Set up wireless and wired networks.
- Ensure proper integration of network services, such as DNS, DHCP, and VPN.

2. Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Monitor network performance and ensure optimal operation.
- Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues and system outages.
- Perform regular network maintenance and upgrades, including security updates.

3. Security Management
- Implement network security protocols to protect against cyber threats.
- Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
- Conduct periodic security audits and vulnerability assessments.

4. Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Create reports on network performance and incidents for management.

5. User Support
- Assist users with network-related issues.

6. Collaboration
- Work with IT teams to implement new technologies.
- Coordinate with vendors and external support teams for repairs and upgrades.

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, VLANs, etc.).
- Knowledge of routing and switching.
- Experience with network diagnostic tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, etc.).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud services.

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Certifications (preferred):

- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- CompTIA Network+.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in network support or IT infrastructure roles.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift

- Performance bonus
