Role/Responsibilities
- Financial Data Analyst will be a part of Environmental, Social and Governance team (“ESG”) working mainly on the corporate governance framework. FDA is expected to provide inputs to associate analysts/ratings analysts to support assessment of corporate governance, financial policies, sustainability, management, commitment towards stakeholders and social responsibilities of various entities under Moody’s coverage.
- FDA would be responsible for determining organizational merits and weaknesses by analyzing key areas of Governance, Board structure, compliance policies, corporate reporting’s, shareholdings, compensation alignments and other key personnel/Management of various corporate and public infrastructure companies
- Good understanding of various company filings (10K, annual reports, Proxy statements, Memorandum of Associations etc.) and should be comfortable with secondary research
- FDA would continue to build knowledge on ESG frameworks and look to improve the framework, suggest automation, and efficient methods to collect the data
- Liaise with analysts in order to understand and report the findings and observations of data needed for analysis and publications
- FDA should be able to distill detailed and potentially complicated issues into clear, concise communication
- FDA should also have good critical thinking abilities, strong communication skills, in order to collaborate with colleagues on streamlining work processes and communicating changes

**Qualifications**:

- Post graduate degree required; specializations in Finance is preferred
- Experience in Environmental Social Governance work is preferred
- Knowledge or prior experience in analysing and researching information from company filings and secondary research.
- Individual must be organized, dependable, able to multi-task and manage priorities, display initiative, and have the ability to work independently in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal & written), and interpersonal skills are required.
