**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1.Teaching & Instruction -**
- Develop and deliver engaging, comprehensive lectures and interactive classroom activities for undergraduate and postgraduate psychology courses.
- Create and maintain up-to-date course materials, including syllabi, reading lists, assignments, and exams.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote active learning.

**2.Student Assessment & Feedback -**
- Design and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and proficiency.
- Grade student assignments and exams in a timely manner, providing constructive feedback to aid their academic progress.
- Monitor and support students' academic performance, offering guidance and interventions as needed.

**3.Research & Scholarly Activity -**
- Conduct original research in psychology, with a focus on publishing findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at conferences.
- Supervise and mentor student research projects, theses, or dissertations.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research initiatives and contribute to the department’s research output.

**4.Student Mentorship & Counseling -**
- Provide academic advising and career counseling to students, helping them navigate their academic journey and career options.
- Support student well-being through counseling services and referral to appropriate resources as needed.
- Facilitate workshops and events to promote mental health and personal development.

**5.Curriculum Development & Innovation -**
- Participate in curriculum design and development, ensuring courses are relevant, comprehensive, and aligned with current trends in psychology.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching techniques into course delivery.
- Collaborate with faculty to develop interdisciplinary programs and enhance the overall curriculum.

**6.Administrative & Departmental Duties -**
- Engage in departmental activities, including faculty meetings, curriculum review, and academic committees.
- Contribute to the department’s accreditation and quality assurance processes.
- Assist in organizing events, seminars, and workshops to promote the field of psychology.

**7.Community Engagement & Outreach -**
- Develop programs and partnerships that extend psychological services or awareness into the community.
- Participate in outreach activities, such as workshops on mental health, guest lectures, or public seminars.

**8.Professional Development & Qualifications -**
- Maintain professional and academic qualifications in accordance with institutional standards.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through additional certifications, training, or advanced studies.
- Stay informed of advancements in psychology and incorporate new knowledge into teaching and research.

**9.Contribution to University Goals -**
- Support the institution's mission and vision through active participation in academic and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to improve student retention, academic quality, and institutional reputation.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:
**1. Education**: Master’s or Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution. Specialization in areas like Child Psychology, Counseling, or Organizational Psychology is preferred.

**2. Experience**:Prior teaching experience at the university level and a strong record of research and publications.

**3. Skills & Abilities**:

- Excellent teaching and communication skills.
- Ability to conduct and publish high-quality research.
- Strong mentorship and counseling abilities.
- Proficient in using technology and online learning platforms.
- Team player with a commitment to collaboration and continuous improvement.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Membership in professional psychology organizations.
- Experience with curriculum development and the integration of experiential learning techniques.
- Certification in counseling or mental health practices.

**Compensation**:

- Competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with benefits as per University policies.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
