**Key areas of responsibility**:
Ensure comprehensive patient care and maintenance of quality standards in Pharmacy.
**Main job Tasks;**
- Assist in organizing training and teaching programs for the team and document the same as per the NABH norms. (Ensure all staff has attended 50hrs of training in a year)
- Ensure policies and SOP are followed consistently and look for areas of opportunity.
- To adhere to quality protocols as per NABH standards and maintain monthly reports
- To adhere to infection control protocols and review & recommend for the changes if required.
- Assist HOD to prepare the duty rooster of Team.
- Assist HOD in reducing the absenteeism & attrition rate in the department
- Participates in training programs.
- Maintaining proper stock and keeping the same correctly and updated
- Developing a continuous learning platform for pharmacy staff
- Assist HOD to properly engage your team members
- Improving patient satisfaction index
- Raise incidents and use the same for taking CAPA
- Adhere to overall discipline and time and attendance of the staff
- Assist HOD in Keeping track of slow-moving items and appropriately managing their stock
- Assist HOD in Keeping track of expiry medicines and returning the items to the vendors
- Ensures delivery of quality pharmacy services for residents, clients and employees.
- Ensuring the dispensing of medications with clear instructions and correct labeling to patients.
- Ensure the pharmacy department provides clear, understandable instructions to discharge patients in a language known to the patient with information leaflets if possible.
- Acts as a liaison with nursing and medical staff concerning prescriptions orders, drugs and pharmaceutical details, resident reactions, errors and complaints.
- Ensures secure storage of narcotics and other controlled substances on a regular basis.
- Checks that drugs ordered correspond with conditions of patients, overdoses do not occur, allergies and drug interactions have been excluded.
- Supply and labeling of all drugs issued to nursing units
- Pack drugs for the prompt distribution and dispensing.
- Stock processing-receiving, checking, unpacking, putting away, displaying.
- Provides clear, understandable instructions to patients/bystanders
- Dispatches drugs to nursing units with proper care and security during transit. Records requisitions accurately.
- Performs quality control monitoring in pharmacy and nursing units on schedule as assigned.
- Compiles with standard operating procedures for storage, recording and requisitions of drugs.
- Maintains general cleanliness of department: dispensing counter, measuring glassware, computer hardware and electronic balance.
**Salary**: Up to ₹22,000.00 per month

**Education**:
- Diploma (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Pharmacist: 1 year (preferred)
License/Certification:
- Registered Pharmacist (preferred)
