The Packaging Engineer is responsible for Spare Parts FCSD Packing. He is responsible to lead and implement the Projects in Co-ordination with various cross functional teams and to meet department Objectives related to Packaging Cost efficiencies. He is responsible for implementation of SAP Module for Packaging Processes. He is also responsible to ensure the Department Operational Metrics are achieved

Operational Metrics are
- Packaging cost reduction through packaging specs. improvement
- Packaging Specs. Validation and approval
- Packaging related Concerns Management
- Implement Packaging approval Tool (GSPPS) in IMG Region
- 7 -8 years experience
- Packing - Automotive Parts both for Domestics and Export Shipments / Warehouse Material Handling
- Packaging - Project Management, Technical validation, Cost efficiencies
- Automotive Parts Packaging Knowledge
- Experience in Lead and Delivering Projects
- Self Driven and Motivated / Analytical Decision making / Good communicator
- Fluency in english - Write, Speak / Good working knowledge in MS office tools, Anlaytical tools
- Ability to operate independently, be detail oriented and deliver results

**Education**
- Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Business Administration (MBA) or any specialized course in Packaging, Warehouse Material Handling with Minimum 5 to 6 yrs of experience/exposure in Packing of Automotive Parts

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Drive and implement Packaging cost reduction initiatives.
- Drive and Implement Packaging related Strategic Projects
- Implement SAP Module for Packaging Processes
- Implement Global Spare Parts Packaging Tools, Standards in liaison with Global Packaging team
- Validate and approval of Packaging Specifications from Suppliers/ Contract Packers / Plant / PDC
- Drive and Implement Packaging Spec. approval Tool (GSPPS - Global Service Parts Packaging System) across IMG Region
- Resolve Packaging Concerns, Implement PCA and Horizontal Deployment of solution across IMG Markets
- Develop and Implement Commodity wise Packaging Standards
- Lead Packaging related Contracts (Packing Materials, Contract Packers)
