**Job Summary**

Looking for highly motivated, committed and energetic individuals for teaching to pre-school classes and supervising day care for them.

Will report to the Centre Coordinator.

**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Curriculum Planning and Deployment**:

- Keep abreast of current knowledge in Early Childhood Education
- Read and gain a thorough understanding of the curriculum
- Implement the daily program of activities based in accordance with the program’s curriculum
- Use available teaching aids or create teaching aids such as charts, displays when required
- Weekly meet with the Centre Head to review curriculum plans, activities and effective program execution

**Create an Engaging Environment**:

- Update school displays with photographs, articles etc. on events celebrated as per the academic calendar
- Set up and maintain a safe, organised and attractive classroom which is conducive to the optimal growth and development of a child
- Coordinate and work with the Centre Head and other Mentors on centre-related matters such as Celebrations, Events and Field Trips etc.

**Preschool Supplies**:

- Maintain and procure supplies such as stationary, log book, toys, books, equipment and other materials required at the centre

**Progress Reports**:

- Track progress of each child as per the Preschool guidelines.
- Review the progress of each child with colleagues.
- Develop written plans to promote each child’s growth, aid in building a sense of self-discipline and self-esteem in the child Stakeholder Relationships:

- Develop a positive relationship with each child
- Interact at regular intervals (defined in the academic calendar) with parents, attend to their queries and address their concerns
- Manage parent grievances promptly in conjunction with the Centre Head
- Maintain a professional dialogue with co-workers on matters concerning the students, other colleagues and the Preschool.

**Meets**: Attend all staff related meets at the Centre

**Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications**

Diploma/ Graduates with 0-3 years of experience. Prior experience in child care will be an added advantage.
