**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Conduct visual inspections of raw materials (lumber, nails, etc.) to ensure compliance with quality standards.

2. Inspect pallets at various stages of production (assembly, nailing, etc.) to ensure conformity to customer specifications and industry standards (e.g., IPP, ISPM 15).

3. Identify and document defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards.

4. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions.

5. Monitor and maintain quality control records, reports, and documentation.

6. Perform audits to ensure compliance with internal quality procedures and regulatory requirements.

7. Recommend improvements to quality processes and procedures.

8. Participate in training and development programs to stay updated on industry standards and quality best practices.

9. Perform final inspections before shipping to ensure pallets meet quality standards.

**Requirements**:
1. 2+ years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment (wood products industry preferred).

2. High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in quality management, woodworking, or related field preferred.

3. Knowledge of wood pallet manufacturing processes and industry standards (IPP, ISPM 15).

4. Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001) and lean manufacturing principles.

5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.

7. Basic computer skills (MS Office, quality software).

**Physical Demands**:
1. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.

2. Work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
