Over the next 2 years, our goal is to transform the travel experience for 300 mn commuters monthly, unlocking over 2.5 billion hrs of digital consumption, where otherwise Apps don’t work reliably, due to unstable or inexistent cellular connectivity.

**How do we do it?**

We install servers at key places of interest (POIs) where users access internet services (Public transport, Rural areas, Residential complexes, Corporate parks, Hotels, Educational institutes, Retail zones, F&B outlets, etc.) Sugar Box’s patented technology then uses prediction algorithms to cache relevant data from partner Apps on each local server. In addition to this, the local server uses Edge computing to manage other technical requirements such as User registration, Personalization, Security, Ads & Payments. This server is then exposed to the consumer over a local Wi-Fi so that s/he is able to use the partner Apps without any dependence on internet connectivity.

Even offline consumption can now be monetized - that means consumer will be served Ads & will be able to transact even without connectivity.

- Work with Product, Business, Program, Development owners and product scrum teams to create solutions to improve the quality of the product
- Designs, codes, reviews, debugs software using programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, MySQL
- Build tools and frameworks for automated testing to improve QA productivity, predictability, reliability & transparency.
- Actively participates in required activities and validation gates running up to a general availability of products and services through effective collaboration.
- Contributes to QA plan, estimation, prioritisation, and coordinate testing activities at project level
- Contributes significantly to the improvements in software engineering practices, process adoption and quality aspects of all the releases of products and services.
- Contributes significantly to building a strong knowledge base in product, domain, and functional areas
- Actively participates in hiring, mentoring and coaching QA engineers & SDETs.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience working in as a SDET
Proficiency at SDLC/STLC fundamentals, software design/architecture process; test management, defect tracking tools & collaboration tools.
- Analyse business problems and functional requirements for the product, understand customer use case scenarios and enhance as needed.
- Strong experience on QA & automation planning, test case identification, estimation, prioritisation, and release readiness decision making.
- Working experience on Python, Java, JavaScript, MySQL, MongoDB
- Hands on experience on creating frameworks for mobile and web platforms using Appium on iOS & Android, Selenium web driver
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, DevOps, CI/CD pipeline creation.
- Strong knowledge in Database testing and ability to write complex queries
- Experience in automation integration to platforms like Device farm, Device anywhere, Headspin, Perfecto Mobile, pCloudy, Browser Stack & tools like Jira, Xray, TestRail, Slack
Exposure to hiring, mentoring, and coaching QA engineers & SDETs.
- Experience working in a fast paced agile/scrum development process

Communicates clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
