**Job Description
- Legal Researcher**

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct research on legal issues, including litigation, judgements, contracts, regulations, and policies.
- Analyse legal documents and provide summaries and recommendations to attorneys and other stakeholders.
- Draft reports and memoranda on legal issues for attorneys and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations that may affect our organization.
- Collaborate with advocates, lawyers, paralegals, and other staff members to develop legal strategies and provide support on legal matters.
- Participate in meetings and discussions with attorneys and other stakeholders to provide input and recommendations on legal matters.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to attorneys, clients, and other stakeholders on legal topics.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in law, political science, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in legal research, analysis, or related field. (preferred)
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity tools.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to our organization is a plus.
