**Azure Cloud Engineer Job Description**

seeking a highly motivated and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure. This role requires a strong understanding of Azure services, best practices, and a passion for automation and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, implement, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage accounts, compute resources, and security components.
- Deploy and configure Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, and Azure Functions.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
- Automate cloud operations and deployments using scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues.
- Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure services and features.
- Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
- Contribute to the development of cloud architecture and best practices.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in Azure cloud engineering.
- Strong understanding of Azure core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security).
- Hands-on experience with IaC tools (ARM templates, Terraform, Bicep).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
- Experience with Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with serverless computing (Azure Functions, Logic Apps).
- Experience with database administration (Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB).
- Experience with migrating workloads to Azure.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
