**Job Overview**:
The Salesman/Salesgirl is responsible for generating sales and fostering relationships with new and existing wholesale customers. The role involves identifying customer needs, providing product recommendations, and closing sales to achieve set targets. This position also includes promoting the company’s products, ensuring customer satisfaction, and supporting the overall sales strategy for the wholesale business.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Actively prospect for new wholesale clients and identify potential sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Meet with current and potential clients to present the company’s product offerings and services, tailoring pitches to meet their specific needs.
- Process orders, manage customer inquiries, and ensure that the products are delivered on time and in good condition.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of the company’s product range, market trends, and competitor offerings to effectively sell to customers.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with clients to secure sales and meet sales targets.
- Assist in preparing quotations, proposals, and contracts for customers as needed.
- Monitor customer accounts and provide ongoing support, including addressing issues and handling returns or exchanges.
- Work closely with internal teams (operations, logistics, billing) to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery of products.
- Keep accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, and follow-up tasks in the CRM system.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall team sales goals.
- Provide feedback to the sales manager or director regarding customer trends, market conditions, and competitor activity.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other networking events to promote the company and generate new leads.
- Participate in sales meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
**Qualifications**:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the wholesale or distribution industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Negotiation skills and the ability to close sales.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.
**Preferred Skills**:
- Knowledge of the wholesale market and industry trends.
- Previous experience selling to retailers, wholesalers, or B2B customers.
- Fluency in local language.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
