**3D Designer job description**:
The 3D Designer will be responsible for creating high-quality 3D models, animations, and visual

effects for various engineering projects. This role requires a combination of artistic vision and

technical expertise to produce engaging and realistic 3d models & animations.

**3D Designer duties and responsibilities**
- Develop 3D models, textures, and animations based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with other designers, artists, and developers to ensure a cohesive visual style.
- Create and maintain 3D assets and libraries.
- Utilize software tool (Blender) to create and refine models and animations.
- Ensure all designs meet quality standards and project deadlines.
- Optimize 3D models and assets for performance and compatibility across different platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to 3D design and animation.
- Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to incorporate new techniques and tools.

**3D Designer requirements**
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of 3D design
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong expertise in 3d modelling & Animation, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a 3D Designer or similar role with a strong portfolio showcasing 3D modeling and animation skills.
- Proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., Blender).
- Knowledge of texturing, shading, and lighting techniques.
- Understanding of animation principles and rigging.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering / product design will be an added advantage.
