BASIC FUNCTION:

- Our company in Irungattukottai, is seeking dedicated and experienced Security Guards to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be instrumental in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors. In this position, you will be responsible for a range of security duties, including monitoring and patrolling premises, handling security incidents, and ensuring that all safety protocols are followed. If you have a strong background in security and a passion for maintaining a safe environment.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITY:

- Patrol the premises regularly to ensure safety and security, addressing any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Check and Enter the details of Vehicles/ Materials in Inward/ Outward Register.
- Monitor and operate security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarms, to detect and respond to security incidents.
- Control access to the premises, verifying the identity of visitors and employees, and ensuring that only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies, including fires, medical incidents, or security threats, coordinating with emergency services as necessary.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections, identifying potential vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with security policies.
- Document and report security incidents, preparing detailed reports on observations and actions taken to maintain transparency and improve security measures.
- Assist in training new security personnel, ensuring they are knowledgeable about security procedures and protocols.
- Enforce company rules and regulations, maintaining a high standard of security and addressing any violations promptly.
- Manage conflicts and ensure a respectful environment by handling disputes between individuals on the premises.
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance overall security measures and address any emerging security concerns.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

- 10th Standard / High School Diploma or equivalent is required for the Security Guard role.
- 2+ years of experience in a security role, with a solid understanding of security procedures and emergency response.
- Proficiency in using security equipment, such as surveillance systems and access control devices, essential for effective monitoring.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, visitors, and emergency services, ensuring clear and effective coordination.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail to identify and address potential security threats or irregularities.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure, responding quickly and effectively to emergencies or security incidents.
- Reliable and trustworthy, with a commitment to maintaining a secure and safe environment.
- Flexibility to work in 12hrs shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the job.
